Sommet Italie-Afrique : Macky Sall salue la pertinence de la coopération avec l’Italie (Photos)
Sur l’initiative Première ministre Giorgia Meloni, L’Italie accueille lundi à Rome un sommet des dirigeants africains dont le Président Macky Sall qui a pas tari d’éloges envers son hôte pour cette nouvelle coopération.
Le président de la République a vivement remercié Mme GiorgiaMeloni, Présidente du Conseil des Ministres italien, pour son aimable invitation et pour l’accueil convivial qui lui a été réservé à l’occasion de Sommet Italie-Afrique.
« Je n’insisterai pas ici sur la pertinence de la coopération pour le développement, ni sur le rôle fondamental des infrastructures comme base de tout processus de développement.
« Aucun développement n’est possible sans infrastructures. Et pour l’Afrique, tout est prioritaire », a tenu à souligner, entre autres, le Président Macky Sall, lors de son intervention.
Enjeu de ce sommet, la présentation du « plan Mattei », du nom d’Enrico Mattei, qui, dans les années 1950, théorisait un rapport de coopération avec les pays africains, en les aidant à développer leurs ressources naturelles.
Ainsi, il a été question aussi d’un plan d’aide au continent en échange d’une coopération accrue en matière de migrations.
