Le Mali appelle à célébrer la victoire militaire de Kidal lors de matches pour la Coupe du monde de foot A
Le ministère des Sports indique sur sa page Facebook consultée jeudi que le tarif des billets au premier prix sera divisé par deux pour les rencontres prévues vendredi à Bamako contre le Tchad, et lundi contre la République centrafricaine. Le billet pour la « chaise grand public » sera vendu 1.000 francs CFA (1,5 EUR) au lieu de 2.000.
Il s’agit de « permettre au public sportif malien de fêter la victoire héroïque des FAMa (Forces armées maliennes) en communion avec les Aigles », le surnom des joueurs de la sélection, dit le ministère.
L’armée malienne a pris mardi aux rebelles touareg la ville de Kidal, foyer de la revendication indépendantiste d’où l’Etat central et l’armée avaient été chassés en 2014. Ce succès militaire, le plus incontestable remporté par les colonels à la tête depuis 2020 de ce pays plongé dans une crise sécuritaire et multidimensionnelle grave, a été largement salué et a donné lieu à des manifestations de joie aux accents patriotiques.
Le ministère « invite le public sportif et la jeunesse malienne à une grande mobilisation (à l’occasion des deux matches) au stade du 26-Mars de Bamako pour fêter cette victoire historique des forces armées et de sécurité avec les Aigles du Mali », dit-il.
La fédération malienne de foot, dans un communiqué, se contente d’annoncer la baisse des prix pour « permettre aux Aigles d’effectuer une belle entrée en lice » dans les éliminatoires, sans référence à Kidal.
